They will all be auctioned off at the Sesquicentennial Fundraising Auction on Saturday, October 9.
To celebrate Independence Day, Farmville will sponsor a “People-Powered Patriotic Parade” on Saturday, July 3 at 11:00 am. Participants should meet at the Town Commons’ Gazebo.

April is National Poetry Month and this year Farmville businesses will have an opportunity to compete in the first annual “Hometown Haiku” competition. The winner will receive free publicity on the Paramount Theater marquee.
The Farmville Chamber of Commerce recognized Mosquito Authority as the Business of the Month for March on Thursday, March 25 at 12 Noon at their business location on West Marlboro Road. Donald Rhodes and Robbie Fulford, owners of the company that provides protection against mosquitos and ticks, received a plaque.
