Farmville Chamber to Host Social Media Tutorial Monday, June 28

June 2, 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Farmville Chamber of Commerce will host a Social Media Tutorial on Monday, June 28 beginning at 9 AM at the new Farmville Public Library.

“We are very excited that we will be hosting this social media tutorial, “The Basics and Beyond,” says Lori Drake, the Executive Director of the Farmville Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. “Social media is an effective tool for businesses and this will be a great way for business owners, staff members and entrepreneurs to learn which platforms best suit their needs and how to improve their skills whether it’s sharing information, interacting with customers and clients, or staying connected,” she says.

The tutorial will be facilitated by Sierra Jones, the Director of Communications and Marketing at the Greenville-Pitt County Convention Center and Visitors Bureau. According to Drake, the tutorial will be set up in a format where participants can ask specific questions whether they are on a beginning, intermediate or advanced social media level.

“We encourage everyone to attend the “Social Media Basics and Beyond” tutorial because the question and answer format will be informative and enlightening for all those who participate,” says Drake. “Participants are invited to send in their questions ahead of time so that the tutorial can be designed to meet individual needs.”

The tutorial is free and open to the public. The Farmville Public Library is located at 4276 West Church Street.
